GOETTAFEST:  August 5 - 7.  Join RC Kenton County at Newport on the Levee, Newport, Kentucky.

BLUEGRASS FOR BETTER HEALTH AND EDUCATION: August 13th at 6 p.m at First Federal Center, Hazard Community and Technical College . Come enjoy dinner and live Bluegrass music while raising money for the Rotary Free Clinic. Tickets on sale for $50.00 per ticket. More information can be found in the flier at the end of the newsletter.

DINING FOR DOLLARS - Dine at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Cold Spring on August 15th and help RC Campbell County raise funds for Campbell County youth. Voucher must be presented - please find a voucher at the end of this newsletter.

REPAIR AFFAIR - September 9 - 10: Enjoy the fellowship and help out the community by joining the Rotarians of  RC Versailles-Woodford County in improving the homes of residents in need. Please see volunteer application at the end of the newsletter.

ROTARY HORSE SHOW -  September 10: Join RC Maysville for the annual horseshow to be held at Germantown Fairgrounds. RC Maysville has sponsored this event for more than forty years! For information, call Doug Hendrickson at 606-564-6846 or Xandy Stewart at 606-407-4005.

REMOTE AREA MEDICAL CLINIC - September 17 - 18: RC Somerset-Pulaski County will be hosting a medical clinic in Somerset, Kentucky. The Clinic will provide general medical, dental and vision services. Volunteers needed - both professional and general. Additional information will be provided in the August newsletter.

SATURDAY IN CARLISLE - September 24th: Gather your family and friends and head to Carlisle for the  "Saturday In Carlisle" community festival sponsored by RC Carlisle. There will be crafts, music, games for the kids, petting zoo, weiner dog race and dog show, art show and more. The festival will be held around the Courthouse Square from 9 am - 5 pm.
