An effective Rotary club undertakes beneficial community
service projects and hosts fundraising events to support their service work. By
this measure RC Prestonsburg is an effective Rotary club. On his visit on
August 8 with the club DG Jack McAllister learned of their efforts in both
community service projects and fundraising which keeps their members busy.
Stories of their Back to School Backpack project were especially touching and
speak to who we are and what we do as Rotarians.
