Campbell County Rotary took part in the Lodge 10 FOP 5C Run/Walk on Aug. 17 at
A. J. Jolly Park. This is a 3.2 mile marathon to benefit the police with their
kids' Christmas present program. Members of the Rotary handed out water at the
half way turn.
The club's next activity is planned for Aug. 31 when it will set
up a booth at the Dunk The Educator fund raiser to benefit Special Olympics of
Northern Ky. Rotarians will be selling split the pot chances.
Campbell County
Rotarians also took part in the NKU Volunteerism Fair on Aug. 21.
Programs have
been outstanding. Recent speakers have been County Commissioner Brian Painter;
CEO of Southbank, Jack Moreland; and Asst. Dir. for North Key, Sandra George.
