DG Jack McAllister was welcomed to the meeting of the Rotary
Club of London on July 17, 2013 by President Gary Parker and was presented with
a proclamation of “Jack McAllister Day” from Laurel County Judge Executive
David Westerfield and a key to the city of London from Mayor Troy Rudder. He
acknowledged, in his remarks, the club’s building of the Rotary Children’s Park
and complimented the club for its Dictionary and Pancake Breakfast/Health Fair
projects and the scholarships it awards.
Also in attendance at the meeting were PDG John Burkhart and
Immediate PDG Kathryn Hardman, both of RC London. A special guest for the
meeting was Roland Moore, sole surviving Charter Member (in 1952) of RC London.
