PDG Sachdeva welcomes Indian Ambassador to United
States
PDG Rakesh Sachdeva of Pikeville, Kentucky, welcomed the Indian Ambassador
to the United States, Mrs. Nirupama Rao, at a dinner reception held in her honor
at Lexington, Kentucky on November 11. PDG Sachdeva currently serves as the
Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Bharatiya Temple and Cultural Center in
Lexington. Mrs. Rao spoke about the strong ties between the two nations and the
growing trade and cooperation between India and United States of America
including the Commonwealth of Kentucky. PDG
Sachdeva elaborated on the multifaceted accomplishments and contributions
of Kentuckians of Indian origin in the field of medicine, science, technology,
business, education and philanthropy.
